Earning our Bronze Award
The Girl Scouts Bronze Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve!
A leadership adventure for more than half a million other Girl Scout Juniors across the country and around the world, our troop teamed up, used our special skills and interests to take action, and make a difference in the world!
After multiple discussions and exploring our Yonkers community, our troop decided to focus on Mental Health Awareness for youth as our Bronze Award project. This website is designed to help as a resource to any of our peers who need a reminder about the importance of mental health and resources available to help us manage. Because being a kid today is not easy! Thank you for sharing our website with your friends and family!
Our very own Girl Scout Leanna and Troop Co-Leader Annie participated in our local NAMI WALK to raise money for mental health awareness. Our troop sponsored them with a $100 donation as part of our Bronze Award project. We’re super proud supporters of our sister scouts!
